Mad Monday is on Monday the 19th September (day after Mens grand Final) starting at 10am at the TC. This is a great day to celebrate any premierships won and just enjoy the sun with your fellow club members as you reminisce over season 2011 and talk up your chances for 2012. All players over 18 welcome. This year’s theme is Super-hero. SO wear your undies on the outside and enjoy the day.





CLUB PRESENTATIONS

Club Presentations are coming up! Taking off on Saturday 24th September, it's going to be a geand night!
Come along to the TC for a feed, a drink and a good night as we wave goodbye to the season of 2011 and reflect on the year past.
You can purchase tickets from Clara Davis who will be at all finals!

Trivia Night

Apologies to all who were getting in the zone for July Trivia, but based on long term weather forecasts for this month, it is predicted that we will need a few more weeks to thaw before our minds can once again work effectively.

IMHI Golf Day

Your Hockey Association needs your support for the 2011 IMHI Golf Day.



Game Details:
  • Thursday 25th AUGUST at Port Kembla Golf Club
  • Noon registration; 12.30 pm hit off
  • 4 person Ambrose event with a Shotgun start


Cost:
  • $60 per player - groups of 4 players = $240 (GST inclusive)
  • Sponsored holes are $400 (GST inclusive) for which the sponsor gets a group of 4 players and advertising banners on a hole of their choice. NB Such advertising with the IMHI is a TAX DEDUCTION plus the sponsor can claim back the GST.


Club Requirements
  • Albion Park, Uni & Wests = MUST get 2 Hole Sponsors ($800 minimum)
  • Fairy Meadow, Dapto & Kiama = MUST get 1 hole sponsor & 1 group of golfers ($640 minimum)
  • Cavaliers & Oak Flats = MUST get 1 group of 4 players ($240 minimum)
  • Clubs will be sent an account for the minimum amount owing.


Finders Fee - for each Hole Sponsor acquired by your Club, YOUR CLUB will get a $110 REBATE ($100 if you are not registered to claim the GST). The more sponsors you can gain, the more money your club will receive.

What do you get for your $60? Good value and a fun day!
  • Green fees at Illawarra's best golf course;
  • Drinks during round;
  • A sausage sizzle at the 9th hole;
  • Dinner after the game with the presentation at 6.00 pm.


The Hole Sponsor gets all of the above for each of their 4 players plus ADVERTISING at the hole of their choice and in the Players Information Kit given to all players plus it's a Tax Deduction and they can claim back the GST. It's a bargain!

Other Details:
  • We are also approaching Companies to donate prizes to award for "Nearest the Pin", "Longest Drive", "Drive and Pitch" and "Straightest Drive" winners, etc. If you have any contacts for companies who you feel could donate prizes for these awards, please give me the contact details and I'll follow up your contacts.
  • A raffle will run in conjunction with the Presentation to include high quality prizes donated by local companies.
